(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia's Public Works Street division has announced that they will be conducting pavement maintenance on South Sinclair Road starting Monday, Aug. 17. The maintenance will take place between Muirfield Drive and just south of John Warner Middle School, located at 5550 S. Sinclair Road.
The crews will be applying an asphalt overlay to improve the condition of the roadway. This work is expected to take place daily from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. until it is completed.

During this time, temporary lane closures will be necessary and motorists can expect delays. Traffic control signs and flaggers will be in place to guide drivers through the work zone as needed. Drivers are advised to use caution and consider alternate routes if possible.
If weather permits, the work is expected to be completed by 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 20. The City of Columbia urges drivers to plan accordingly and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
