(COLUMBIA, MO) -

The City of Columbia Public Works Department is requesting public feedback regarding the North Stadium Boulevard sidewalk project. As part of the City's public involvement process for capital projects Public Works is holding an online Interested Parties (IP) meeting from Monday, June 21 through Friday, July 2 at CoMo.gov/publicworks/north-stadium-sidewalk/

Preliminary design includes construction of a concrete sidewalk to fill in sidewalk gaps along the west side of North Stadium Boulevard (Route E) in northwest Columbia. The proposed sidewalk will start at the existing sidewalk at the Stadium overpass of Interstate 70 and will end at the existing sidewalk at the Break Time gas station.

Investment for this project is estimated at $352,000 paid from the 2015 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) sales tax.

The online comment period will run from June 21 through July 2.  During this time, citizens may review preliminary plans, contact Public Works staff with questions and comments and complete the IP Comment Form.
