To assist drivers in navigating around the closure, signs will be posted in the area. However, all entrances and exits to the Eighth and Walnut Plaza Parking Garage will remain accessible.
Customers entering the parking garage from North Eighth Street must approach from East Walnut Street and vehicles exiting onto North Eighth Street must turn right due to the northbound restriction.
Despite the road closure, sidewalks in the area will remain open for pedestrians. The city expects the work to be completed by Friday, Sept. 26 and for normal traffic flow to resume at that time.
