(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia's Public Works Street division crews will be temporarily closing the westbound lane of West Rollins Road near its intersection with South Scott Boulevard for one day during the week of May 18. The closure is necessary for concrete roadway repairs near the two traffic islands adjacent to 4208 West Rollins Road. This decision was made in order to ensure the safety and functionality of the road for drivers.
Due to potential rain in the forecast, crews have planned to complete the repairs on the first available clear weather day between Monday and Thursday. The work is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. and is expected to be completed by 3 p.m.

Drivers should take note of possible lane closures during this time and be prepared for potential delays. To assist with traffic flow, flaggers will be present to direct drivers through the work zone. It is important for drivers to remain cautious and follow any instructions given by flaggers.
The sidewalk along the south side of West Rollins Road will remain open during this time, allowing pedestrians to safely navigate through the area. The City of Columbia appreciates everyone's cooperation and patience as they work towards improving the road conditions for all residents.
