(COLUMBIA, MO) - Audubon Drive and Shepard Boulevard have been identified as streets with traffic operating at speeds higher than desirable. The City of Columbia Public Works department has scheduled an informal open house informational meeting concerning a traffic calming project. This meeting will be held on Monday, Dec. 13, 2021 from 6 to 7 p.m. at City Hall in Conference Room 1A, 701 E. Broadway.

During the meeting, residents will be able to view proposed work for the project and speak with Public Works staff about this potential future traffic calming project. A public comment card will be available there, or you can fill out the comment form attached to this press release and email it to Pubw@CoMo.govcreate new email or mail it to Columbia Public Works, 701 E. Broadway, Columbia, Mo. 65201. Please include "Audubon Drive and Shepard Boulevard traffic calming" in the subject line of emailed comments.
