(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia, MO - Paric Construction has announced that they will be overseeing the installation of gas service for the new building at 1104 E. Walnut St. The project is set to begin at 7 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 9 and is expected to be completed by 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15, weather permitting.
In order to complete the installation, crews will need to remove and replace a portion of the eastbound lane of East Walnut Street. This will require the closure of both lanes of East Walnut Street between Short Street and Orr Street.

To ensure the safety of drivers and pedestrians in the area, traffic will be detoured to East Broadway and detour and road closure signs will be placed to guide drivers through the area. However, the sidewalk on the north side of East Walnut Street within the closure area will remain open for pedestrians.
Residents and commuters are advised to plan their routes accordingly during this time period. Paric Construction assures that they are working diligently to complete the project as quickly as possible with minimal disruption to daily routines.
