(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia, MO - The City of Columbia Housing and Neighborhood Services department, in collaboration with the Columbia Housing Authority and Columbia Board of Realtors, will be hosting a fair housing event on Friday, April 18. The event will take place at City Hall in the Council Chambers and Conference Rooms 1A/1B from 9:30-11:30 a.m.
The purpose of the event is to provide residents with information on recent fair housing trends. Professor Rigel Oliveri, a nationally recognized expert on fair housing law and a professor at the University of Missouri School of Law, will be giving a presentation. Community members will also have the opportunity to hear updates from local partners who are actively working towards promoting fair housing efforts in Columbia.

The event is free to attend and lunch will be provided after the presentation. Interested individuals are asked to register at CoMo.gov/fairhousingevent. All members of the public are welcome to attend any open meeting.
