(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia, MO - The City of Columbia is set to hold a Community Classroom session on Wednesday, Jan. 21 to educate the public about the City's Career Awareness Related Experience (CARE) Program. The session will take place from noon to 1 p.m. in Conference Rooms 1A/1B at City Hall, located at 701 E. Broadway.
The CARE Program, which is managed by the Parks and Recreation department, aims to provide valuable work experience for 14- to 20-year-olds by placing them in local businesses and paying them for their work. Applications for the program are open from Jan. 1 through March 8.

To ensure enough refreshments are available for attendees, those interested in attending are asked to register at the following link: https://forms.gle/9ygsiJFtfHNhEhqT8.
The Community Classroom series is part of the City's Community Connectors program, which strives to promote communication and trust between community members and city government. For more information about this program, visit CoMo.gov/Connect.
Members of the public are welcome to attend any open meeting related to this program.
