(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Parks and Recreation will open the annual winter trout fishing program at Cosmo-Bethel Park on Wednesday, November 1st. The Missouri Department of Conservation will stock the lake with approximately 2,400 trout for the program. Artificial baits must be used from November 1st to January 31st, and a valid Missouri fishing permit and a trout permit are required. From February 1st onwards, anglers can harvest trout under statewide regulations. For more information, contact Parks and Recreation or the Missouri Department of Conservation.
