(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia, MO - As the nation prepares to honor its veterans on November 11th, the City of Columbia has announced that all city offices will be closed in observance of Veterans Day. This closure will impact several city services, including residential curbside trash and recycling collection, which will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week.
To stay updated on collection schedules and service notifications, residents are encouraged to download the COMO Recycle and Trash App. Any questions regarding the collection schedule can be directed to the Contact Center at 573.874.CITY (2489). In addition, the landfill will also be closed on November 11th.
Go COMO fixed route and Paratransit services will not be available on Tuesday, November 11th. However, due to the University of Missouri being in session, Go COMO Tiger Line buses will continue to operate on their normal schedule.
