(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ As Memorial Day approaches, the City of Columbia has announced that all city offices will be closed on Monday, May 27 in observance of the holiday. This includes the landfill, which will also be closed on this day.
In addition, there will be some changes to the residential curbside trash collection schedule. Trash pickup will not take place on Monday and will instead be delayed by one day for the rest of the week. To stay updated on collection days and any service notifications, residents are encouraged to download the COMO Recycle and Trash App. Any questions about the collection schedule can be directed to the Contact Center at 573.874.CITY (2489).
The city's public transit system, Go COMO, will also not be operating on Memorial Day. Parking enforcement will also be suspended for the day.
