(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia, MO - The City of Columbia has taken a major step towards simplifying access to services for its residents with the launch of My Key, a new universal eligibility program. This initiative, which began on March 2, aims to remove barriers to applying for assistance by providing a secure and convenient single sign-on system for residents to apply and submit documentation annually or as needed.
My Key streamlines the verification process by granting access to four major programs simultaneously: Utility Assistance, Parks and Recreation Financial Assistance, Medication Assistance, and Paratransit. This means that residents no longer have to provide the same paperwork to multiple departments, saving them time and transportation costs associated with navigating City services.

To register for My Key, residents can visit mykey.CoMo.gov. For those who prefer in-person support or need to submit annual paperwork, they can bring their supporting documents to Public Health and Human Services at 1005 W. Worley St. Once eligibility is verified, a resident's key can remain active for up to a full calendar year depending on the program.
The City of Columbia hopes that this new program will make it easier for residents to access the assistance they need without having to go through multiple processes and departments. With My Key, the City is taking steps towards creating a more efficient and user-friendly system for its residents.
