~ The City of St. Louis has taken a significant step in its digital transformation with the launch of OneStopGov, a new digital portal for interactions with the City. This online platform, accessible at onestopgov.stlouis-mo.gov, aims to make interactions with the City smoother and more efficient for residents and businesses.

Thanks to funding from the American Rescue Plan Act, OneStopGov currently offers online special events permitting. This feature will streamline the permitting process for event organizers, in line with Mayor Tishaura O. Jones' commitment to modernizing City services.

Mayor Jones expressed her excitement about this new development, stating that "filling out paper forms and going to City Hall can be a long and sometimes frustrating process." She believes that OneStopGov will make interactions with the City more accessible, user-friendly, and efficient for all parties involved.

Previously, special event organizers had to go through a disjointed and time-consuming process of downloading fillable PDFs, emailing them to city staff, and visiting multiple offices in person to make payments by check or money order. With OneStopGov, this process will be streamlined as users can now access the permitting platform 24/7 and make digital payments.

Other benefits of using OneStopGov include automatic routing to relevant City departments, email notifications of status updates, and the ability to save and resume applications. While the platform currently caters specifically to event organizers, future phases will include opportunities for food and liquor vendors as well.

For those who do not have easy access to a computer or prefer to apply for permits in person, appointments can be made by calling 314-589-6640. The City is committed to ensuring that all residents have equal access to these services.

The launch of OneStopGov marks an important milestone in St. Louis' digital transformation journey. With its user-friendly features and commitment to making interactions with the City smoother and more efficient, it is sure to benefit both residents and businesses.
