(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Youth Advisory Council to Host Second Annual Youth Summit
The City of Columbia Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is gearing up for its second annual Youth Summit, set to take place on April 12 from 1-3 p.m. at the Armory Sports and Recreation Center. The summit aims to educate residents about opportunities for youth involvement in their community and government.
Attendees can look forward to a variety of activities, including learning about youth involvement in the community, enjoying performances by local youth, and hearing from City staff. The event will also feature booths with information on the YAC's role and how they work with Council members to make a positive impact on issues that affect the youth of Columbia.

In addition, there will be information available on how young people can get involved in the community through volunteer opportunities and current job openings. To keep attendees energized, refreshments such as pizza, beverages, and snacks will be provided. Those who attend will also have the chance to snag some swag.
The summit is open to all members of the public who are interested in learning more about youth involvement in their community.
