According to EPA, leaks can account for up to 10,000 gallons of water in an average home every year - equivalent to washing 300 loads of laundry. By participating in Fix-a-Leak Week, Americans can help put a stop to this wastage and promote water conservation efforts. City of Columbia Utilities encourages all members of the public to attend these events and learn how they can make a difference in preserving our precious water resources.
