(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia, MO - The City of Columbia is continuing its monthly Let's Talk Local discussions, with the next one scheduled for February 27th at New Haven Elementary School. The event will take place from 6-7:30 p.m. in the school's cafeteria and will feature Ward 6 Council Member Betsy Peters as the guest speaker.
The main focus of this month's discussion will be on how residents can report non-emergency issues to the city using their upgraded reporting system. This system, which can be accessed through CoMo.gov and the MyCOMO app, allows users to easily notify city staff about concerns such as potholes, street light outages, water leaks, and more.

In addition to learning about the reporting system, attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss how they can best direct inquiries related to city programs and meetings. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session where residents can share their insights on important community topics.
The Let's Talk Local discussions were first introduced in January 2025 with First Ward Council Person Valerie Carroll as the guest speaker. These meetings aim to provide a platform for residents to connect with city staff and council members, discuss important community issues, and share their thoughts on matters that are important to them.
All residents from any ward are welcome to attend these meetings. Refreshments will be provided for all attendees. Those interested in attending are asked to register at CoMo.gov/local-ward-6. Residents can also find out which ward they reside in by visiting CoMo.gov/boards/city-council/wards-map/.
