(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia, MO - The City of Columbia is set to hold its monthly Let's Talk Local discussion on Sunday, January 25th from 1:30-3 p.m. at the Daniel Boone Regional Library. The event will take place in the Friends Room and will feature Ward 1 Council Member Valerie Carroll as the guest speaker.
The focus of this month's discussion will be on how to develop strong neighborhood communities. In addition to Council Member Carroll's presentation, city staff will also be in attendance to answer any questions from residents.
According to the city's press release, attendees are encouraged to bring their questions to the event or submit them in advance through BeHeard.CoMo.gov/ask-city-council. Council members and city staff will do their best to address these questions during the meeting. Answers to questions submitted online will also be made available on BeHeard after the event.

All residents, regardless of their ward, are welcome to attend this meeting. Refreshments will be provided and attendees are asked to register beforehand at https://forms.gle/jRPizGryVAth2dNJ7.

The public is invited to attend any open meeting and accommodations for disabilities can be requested by calling 573.874.CITY (2489) or emailing a designated email address.
