(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia, MO - The City of Columbia is set to host two monthly Let's Talk Local discussions in June, providing an opportunity for residents to engage with city officials and discuss important topics. Mayor Barbara Buffaloe and Ward 4 Council Member Nick Foster will each lead a presentation on different issues affecting the community.
On June 25, Mayor Buffaloe will focus on tourism and the arts from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Friends Room in the Daniel Boone Regional Library. The following day, on June 26, Council Member Foster will address housing and homelessness from 5:30-7 p.m. at Fairview Community of Christ Church.
Residents are encouraged to attend these meetings and ask questions related to the topic or any other issues they may have. Refreshments will be provided for attendees. To ensure enough refreshments are available, residents are asked to register at bit.ly/3FroJep.

In addition, residents can submit specific topics or questions they would like addressed at the meetings through BeHeard.CoMo.gov/ask-city-council. City council members and staff will do their best to answer these questions during the meeting or post responses on BeHeard.
These meetings are open to all residents from any ward in Columbia. To find out which ward they reside in, residents can visit CoMo.gov/boards/city-council/wards-map/.
