(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ The City of Columbia is currently seeking residents to serve on various boards and commissions. The Clerk's Office is now accepting applications, which can be found on the City's website at CoMo.gov. Interested individuals must submit their applications by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 4 to the City Clerk's Office.

These boards and commissions provide an opportunity for citizens to actively participate in local government and represent the voices of their community members. There are several openings available for different City boards and commissions, including the Bicycle/Pedestrian Commission, Board of Adjustment, Building Construction Codes Commission, Disabilities Commission, Historic Preservation Commission, Liquor License Review Board, Personnel Advisory Board, Planning and Zoning Commission, Public Transit Advisory Commission, St. Charles Transportation Development District Board, Tobacco Retailer License Review Board, and University of Missouri Extension Council of Boone County.
