(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia, MO - The City of Columbia is offering residents the opportunity to get involved in local government by accepting applications for various boards and commissions. These positions are a way for citizens to represent their community and have a voice in decision-making processes.
Interested individuals can find the application on the City's website, CoMo.gov. The deadline for submission is 5 p.m. on Friday, March 7th. The City Clerk's Office will be responsible for receiving and reviewing all applications.

There are currently openings for ten different boards and commissions, including the Bicycle/Pedestrian Commission, Building Construction Codes Commission, and Human Services Commission. A full list of available positions can be found on CoMo.gov/Council/Vacancies or by contacting the Clerk's Office at 573.874.7207.
Each board or commission has specific eligibility requirements that must be met in order to apply. Residents are encouraged to visit CoMo.gov/Council/Vacancies for a brief description of each position and its requirements.
