ST. LOUIS - Missouriar -- Alicia Trautwein, a nationally recognized autism advocate, blogger, and podcast host, will be featured as a speaker at the highly anticipated 2025 Autism Parenting Summit, where she will present on the topic "Navigating Bullying: Building Confidence and Courage."
This global, virtual event—hosted by Autism Parenting Magazine—features a prestigious lineup including Dr. Temple Grandin, Dr. Suzanne Goh, and over 30 experts in autism research, advocacy, and parenting. The summit is designed to equip parents and caregivers of autistic children with real-world strategies, support, and tools they can implement immediately—and is completely free to attend.
Trautwein's session will explore the often-unspoken impact of bullying on autistic children, offering parents and educators a powerful toolkit for recognizing subtle signs of distress, advocating within the school system, and teaching autistic children the skills and confidence they need to thrive.

"Bullying doesn't just leave emotional bruises—it steals confidence, silences voices, and shapes how autistic children see themselves," says Trautwein. "This conversation is overdue. Parents need practical, trauma-informed strategies to protect and empower their children—and I'm here to deliver them."
Alicia Trautwein is the creator of The Mom Kind, a leading online platform for parenting neurodiverse families, and host of The Mom Kind Podcast. Diagnosed as autistic herself—as are three of her four children—Trautwein brings an authentic, lived perspective to her work. Her advocacy has been featured on major platforms including Win Win Women Network, Yahoo! News, and Autism Parenting Magazine.
The 2025 Autism Parenting Summit will run virtually from May 16th-19th, 2025. Free registration is available at:
