St. Louis' annual Point-in-Time (PIT) count was conducted last week, which counts the number of people experiencing homelessness in our community on a single night. Outreach workers and volunteers counted how many of our neighbors live without shelter in our city. This year, the City of St. Louis' Department of Human Services has made a significant investment in our unhoused services; we now require all of our partner shelters to operate 24/7 and provide wraparound services to help get people into supportive housing.
