ST. LOUIS - Missouriar -- he Association of Corporate Counsel – St. Louis Chapter (ACC STL), the pre-eminent professional development organization serving in-house counsel, recently held its 2025 Annual Meeting and Volunteer Recognition night. During the event, ACC STL recognized members for their individual contributions made to the Chapter in 2024. Beverly Garner, 2024 Chapter President, and Associate General Counsel, Bunge, announced the 2024 award recipients:

"Their dedication and contributions are invaluable to the ACC St. Louis Chapter, and we are incredibly grateful for their commitment to our mission of serving in-house counsel.

- Committee of the Year: The Sponsorship Committee, chaired by Susan Bassford-Wilson, an Assistant General Counsel at Ryder Systems, Inc., received the Committee of the Year award for its adoption of a sponsor liaison program, implementation of electronic registration for sponsors, and hosting a well-attended sponsorship appreciation event. These efforts strengthened relationships with sponsors and advanced the Chapter's strategic plan.
- Member of the Year: Cara Stuckel Baker, ACC STL's 2024 Membership Committee Chair and Associate General Counsel at Anheuser-Busch Companies, LLC, was recognized as the 2024 Member of the Year. Baker demonstrated her leadership to the Chapter by planning successful events, including a series of summer happy hours for members at various locations, a continuing legal education program led by a panel general counsel who shared best practices, and a popular, family-friendly Membership Appreciation event at Grant's Farm complete with photo opportunities with a Clydesdale and attendance gifts. Cara also represented ACC STL at the Global ACC Annual Meeting. Prior to serving as the Membership Committee Chair, Cara was an active member of the Membership Committee.
- William E. Jaudes Service Award: Barbara Barrett, Chief Compliance Officer at Reliant Care Management Company, received the prestigious William E. Jaudes Service Award, which was named after Bill Jaudes, one of the original founders of the Chapter. This honor is given to a member who exemplifies dedication, leadership, and service. Barrett's long-standing service to the Chapter, including roles on the Board of Directors, chairing committees, and acting as Advocacy Liaison, exemplifies the dedication, leadership, and service this award represents. Her contributions extend to the global level, where she serves as Membership Chair for the Compliance and Ethics Network, further raising the Chapter's profile, and where she often serves as a speaker.
